Dear Mr Warren,
I am constructing not so much as a place, but an assembly of elements with a place which already exists – whether the construction was here before or not means nothing. This construction, which is here now, (even ‘today’ is too subject to change, a lifetime,) has no meaning, but will come to have meaning once this moment no longer exists. Too bad. That memory should be charged with the production of value a posteriori, always too late for the event, the disappointed guest.
