Dear Mr Warren,
It is the consideration of many that a street should be walked down in order to get somewhere. The conjecture that ‘life is pointless’ is actually quite opposite: life is full of points, but travelling between them has become an inconvenience. With that in mind, I should like you to consider this project a ‘pointless architecture’, one in which it is travel which is primary, the points of which are inconvenient but necessary stops. An architecture of the streets, if you like.
