Dear Mr Warren,

I worry that I have grown into an idiot, and yet, I don’t worry. That I don’t recall much about what I have learned is true, but then I tend to throw things away once they are past their usefulness. I don’t think that knowledge should be a sort of reservoir or store-house that one keeps in reserve ‘just in case’, or that one should be so indescreet as to be an expert in every little thing. Our insecurity drives us too far in these matters, so much so that our ‘reason’ becomes the very epitome of unreason.

Regards,

The Abministrator
