MESER METZER

Meser-Metzer is a conceptual piece that uses the mediums of environmental sculpture, performance and video art A performance was carried out by the artists Ynin Shillo and Irit Shillo, in May 2014 on both sides of the separation wall, near the checkpoint of Shuafat. The performance included digging of soil on both sides of the separation wall and its replacement by the artists. The piece point out to the path from the values of brotherhood, co-existence and cooperation as a platform for peace in 1970's Israeli Socialists concepts, until today that even the concept of the land is that it is a Capital.
